Our Mission & Vision
The Orchard Preschool’s mission is to provide quality education in an environment which fosters a child’s love of learning and a respect for self, others, the community and the world.
We are committed to providing a nurturing and secure environment which promotes the development of each child physically, emotionally, socially, as well as academically.
The Benefits of PreSchool
Many families increase their child’s attendance at nursery as they move into the Preschool class. An increase in the number of days children attend can help prepare them for the transition to ‘big school’. Three and four year olds are especially keen to develop their social skills and a Preschool environment can support this development especially well. Children also benefit from the expansive learning through play opportunities that a highly qualified early years professional can provide, ensuring they leave for school well prepared socially, academically and emotionally.

What Parents are Saying
“This is my daughter’s second year at the orchard preschool and she has loved her time here. The staff have created a safe, engaging and welcoming environment for children to play and learn in. My daughter has taken part in a wide range of activities and is always keen to go to school. She has been embraced, nurtured and supported by all of the staff at the preschool and as a result has grown in confidence. I have had three children attend the preschool and I would certainly recommend it to other parents too.“
“We’ve been really impressed with everything we’ve seen so far. The girls have both settled in really well, the staff are friendly, kind and warm and the management is organised and very communicative with parents which is great. The school trip was a huge hit and the plans to continue to develop the curriculum and the preschool offering are very encouraging.”
“A lovely nurturing environment, Our second daughter was shy upon starting but has really grown in confidence and the changes the new head is implementing are just amazing. Great team of staff, super school, cannot recommend enough!”
